The events of 1989, together with the introduction of a consumer-oriented way of life, brought new values and new possibilities. Relentless progress towards the segregation of different social categories has emerged. The project is a social experiment, an attempt to produce an architecture where the programmatic setting and general layout stimulate contact between these individual groups.

Hard Core is a social experiment, an attempt to produce an architectural articulation of space, where the programmatic setting and general layout stimulate contact between these individual groups. People ought to have more opportunity to come to contact and influence one another.
