Centre of Explanted Cultures

Ruzbachy, Slovakia
Design 2004

The project of centre of explanted cultures is situated in foot of Spisska Magura mountain range in proximity to Nizne Ruzbachy in Eastern Slovakia. It’s a multipurpose facility merging operations related to plants - cultivation, research, exhibition and education. It consists of 3 main parts – multipurpose hall with small library, greenhouse with exterior gardens and laboratories with background for employees. In principle this is a botanical garden focused but more on presentation of latest research findings of plants whose habitat lies far away from this spot.
