Rene Dlesk (SK)

Co-Founder of P-U-R-A, authorized architect SK,CZ


Rene graduated at Faculty of Architecture at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (Slovakia) in 2006. He spent his internship in Rotterdam office of Erick van Egeraat (EEA) in 2004. During his studies he successfully participated in number of student’s competition. He was active in translation and publication of architectural writings and interviews. He was also cooperating with renowned small czech-slovak office of KSA. For his graduation project he received Professor Lacko prize, awarded annually to the best graduation project within Slovak schools of architecture. His thesis was also selected as one of 50 world best graduation projects – Archiprix 2007.

 

Since 2006 till 2008 he was working in Prague office of Erick van Egeraat (EEA). Since 2007 he was involved in the project of Aula and main building of University of Leipzig in Germany, where he continued on the project till late 2009 under Dresden based office of Fischer & Werner Architekten.


Since foundation of P-U-R-A with Roy Nash, he cooperated on majority of successful competitions, including 2010 “AAA architetti cercasi” or Europan 11. Currently he is simultaneously working on several small scale residential projects in Slovakia and Czech Republic.


As PhD researcher at FASTU in Bratislava, he deals with the analysis of development of public space of countries of former eastern-block after 1989. He also leads student workshops of urban planning at FA STU.
